The friendly UPS man brought goodies!!! Panda silk DK…It’s bigger than the fingering! Now you can use this luxurious yarn to make socks on a size #3!!!
A newcomer for sock lovers…Panda Soy-14% bamboo, 33% soy, 18% elastic. Soft is the only way to describe this newbie!

Note on classes: The Great American Afghan will be taught ONLY on the first Friday (10-12 a.m.) and the first Monday ( 6-8 p.m.) of the month. September square will be # 24. It’s a spinoff from the traditional feather and fan pattern. Due to the limited times and spaces, class fees will be non refundable or transferable. Thank you for your understanding concerning this matter.

I have finalized dates for the Elizabeth Zimmerman percentage class. It will be the 3rd Friday of the month from 10-12 a.m. starting September 19th and running through December. If you are interested, e-mail me back and I will send you the particulars! (that would be information for those who do not understand me!)

The other Fridays (2nd and 4th) will be home to the Duchess Center Cable Pullover knit a long. It will start September 26th. Stop by the shop to see the one I just finished in red! It’s an upside-downer and looks great on all body types!!!

Well, Knitting Buds, here we go into the blog world. This is all new territory for a humble yarn shop in Bowling Green, KY.
